what is the difference between the nissan frontier ifs and the liberty ifs? It seems to me that they are pretty similar, and i found a site where they sell a sfa swap kit for the frontier and it uses an old wagoneer axle for the front, and it seems to be the size that would fit the liberty. how hard would it be to to use the kit as a guide line for the kj conversion kit or would some of the parts work for the liberty with some mods. http://www.purenissan.com/s_a_s__system1.htm |

There is enough difference that it certainly wouldn't bolt right in. It would take as much modding and extra fabrication as to make it easier to just start from scratch. As for using a Waggy front D44, as long as it is driver drop on the diff, it would work for a sfa swap on a KJ. (IIRC, the Waggy front housing Is driver drop) |

the biggest issue would be that the nissan is body on frame and the KJ is unibody so it has no frame to just weld spring hangers or buckets to but rather some type of support would need to be made from what i have heard the unibody on the XJ causes them to get bad death wobble when the get more than a few inches lift and they started out as sfa from the factory |
