First time that I saw them but I knew that they were coming
I was also told that a new upper rear link was coming

Then again I bet they would make them if you ask

If you have a lift and you look at your rear tires, the are not sitting right in the middle of the wheel well. - Your new suspension does the trick - when you lift the KJ, your rear axle tends to move forward - or something like that - (people who understand what i'm talking about please chime in) so what a longer rear arm does - specially if it is adjustable, it will move your tires dead center on your wheel well - not only that, from what I heard from freejeep (who by the way installed aset) is that you get better performance offroad on the trails.
now, please don't take this as a fact - it is only my understanding.

Yep, the axle attaches from the front only. So when you lift, the wheel moves down and forward. With an adjustable unit, such as the Rubicon Express 3715, you are able to push the wheel back.

The problem you then encounter, as JeepinAl, myself, and others can attest is that you then change the pinion angle causing odd drivetrain harmonics. Al has built one but I'm not sure if his is adjustable, but I've got Andy from Carolina Rock Shop building an adjustable upper rear link that utilizes Rubicon Express builder balls. So I'm getting adjustability, plus increased flex.

I'm of the opinion that Rusty's missed the mark by making the arms fixed. It's nice that they put on swaybar mounts if you're into that sort of thing.

If you move the wheel back to center with these arms I would think that during compression the wheel would then move to far rearward due to the added length possibly??

A few people who put the RE arms swear they flex better, or maybe "easier" IIRC. Rusty's doesnt look adjustable, but they put in the sway bar mounts? Too bad I dont have a rear swaybar. I think when I replace mine, I'm going to go with the JKS adjustable arms.

Mutt- keep us posted on the upper arm. I know Al's wasnt adjustable, or didnt look adjustable when he bent one of the prototypes at the Nor'Easter.

Yep the upper arm is now adjustable, I may have had the old on at the nor'easter. I just got my truss mount and four link parts, can't wait to try that bad boy.

What is everyone running for lower control arms since Rusty is the only company that is currently producing LCA's specifically for the KJ. What part number for RE, JKS, etc?

I would like to see a spacer for the rear upper A arm, its in too much of a bind with a 2-3" lift IMO.

Jeff Daniels Jeep in Pa. has one developed. They used it on Joe Jeepers Jeep. They have a true 4 inch lift on Joe Jeepers (MA Lost) KJ. They used my arms, and with alittle help and discussion between us they have made a plate for the back. I went another route. Made a new rear upper arm.

Look for Jeff Daniels (with me) to market the lift soon. I think before the end of the year before all the macjhining and fab. is worked out. Thank look for us to market the 5.5 inch kit.

If you contact Jeff Daniels ask for Dan and tell him Jeepin Al sent you!

Nope it the upper rear arm that the spacer is for, it allows proper pinion angle and upper ball joint placement.

Is it for the 5.5 kit or is there one for a 2-3" kit?

There just isn't much stuff for the KJ's I guess. I will have to make my own. It drives ok but is really tweaked when the wheels flex with the 2.75" change I just made to the rear.

so who else makes an adjustable one, al?

i can see the necessity for these, but are there enough cons against a fixed bar that makes rustys not worth it?
