hey guys new to this site but not 4wheelin got my 05 kj limited in april before that i had a scout II. anyways my jeep has 17" rims and I was wwoundering how big of tires i can put on it before i have to lift or cut. Firestone makes a nice mud tire Destination M/T in a 245/70/17 wich works out to be about 31+" compared to the 235/65/17@29". just trin to get get the best bang for my buck. just about huntin season |

245/70-17 Looks like 30.5 to me, that just might fit with minimal rubbing. A 245/65 -17 would for sure. It would be the same size as my 245/70-16 and they don't rub at all. |

245/70/17 would not fit without a lift. The 245/65/17 should fit with little to no rubbing. |
