I bought a +50mm spring kit ( 2" ) months ago. The crappy kit sagged 15mm more on the rear left - right spring is ok for the moment. And the front springs just can't take the CRD engine.
So it's time to try the OME springs. But you get only 40mm lift with them ( that was why I didn't buy them before ).
What can I do to get those 10mm more at the rear? Is there any spacer or anything?
Front is not a problem as I can do the clevis or put a spacer on the top. The rear is the issue. Any idea?

Cheers

An extra upper sping isolator in the rear will give just about 1/2" which is ~13mm. The can be picked up from the dealer for about 10/dollars a piece.

I'm in the middle of lifting my CRD and have the rear OME HD springs installed.
They gave me exactly 3" after install. I'm sure they'll settle some, but they are definently taller than 2" out of the box.

Thanks Eddo, good tip. I suppose there is no problem with the spring top attachment after putting the two isolators...have you tested it?

BJ'naKJ, those are good news, but bear in mind that as soon as you lift the front the rear will go down a little.

I am guessing you are not in the USA since you are talking metrics.

I actually have a total 3 spring isolator on the top and no problems. It works great. Also, I set someone else up the same way and he hasn't had any problems either.

You nailed it, Joe. Nothing that a calculator can't solve though

Eddo, did you trimmed the isolators ? I was having a look and they seem to have something like a rubber neck around the bumper.

No trimming to do, they all stack together nicely

No trimming necessary. They snug right up to each other nicely.

It's almost as though they were designed to be stacked they fit so well. I have an extra set on top on mine too, works great.
