I do not like those big tail light guards, they are HUGE! It looks like it has built in back-up lights though. Where do you put the spare? A-top the roof?

That red libby has been beat to death! Looks at all the scratches and dents in it.

I really do not know.
on one hand I like it, but on the other hand I do not like it.
It looks kool from the back of it. But looking at it from the side looks kinda cheezy.
I absolutly do not like the tail light guards. it looks retarded.

Im pretty sure that libby is the SFA converted one that got taken on Peterson's Ultimate Adventure. I actually saw that one in person a few years ago. I didnt like the taillight guards either. WAY too big.

They need to make a steel bumper that looks just like the european bumper on the libbys. That would be cheap and look good! :)

Trailready's bumper is certainly not new. The first two pics are of Wally's (DarbyWalters) old KJ. He had the bumper on it back in '03, if not earlier.

The spare tire will still fit on the gate with the TR rear bumper. Those slotted holes aren't backup lights, they're vents so air from the side vents on the KJ can get out (they let air out when you slam the doors.)

I've soured on Trailready personally, as they stopped building the bumper and have been saying for years they were redesigning it and it would be back soon, and cheaper. They've yet to actually build another one, but everytime they update their page the price goes up.

Yep...that is my old KJ...

That bumper was so strong and gave such a great departure angle...A Chevy 3500 Landscape truck plowed into the back of me and the bumper pushed the front of the Chevy all the way into the front tire...didn't even dent the bumper...destroyed the Checy

Was a very good fit and the spare could be mounted like a normal spare...I rigged up a tire carrier inside

The "vent slots" also had a "tab" in the back to mount lights...great for extra backup or offroad lighting

One other feature is that the ends were removeable...If you even did destroy them ( I don't know how ), you could buy a replacement or just take one end off and repair

Funny to look at now...that KJ has been traded in on a new 2006 CRD and my Condo burned down on Haloween last year and I have moved...so many things change but i am still in a KJ :D
