Does anybody know the part # for the rancho shock used in the Frankenlift? Also, the bushings used to adapt the shock. I bought a Frankenlift off E-bay less rear shocks and bump stops for 400 bucks! I work in the Auto industry and get a major discount from the local parts stores and I'm trying to get the shocks local. If not I'll buy them from Al. Can't you use two (four total) hockeypucks for bumpstops? Thanks in advance for the help.

Rears are Rancho RSX 17004.

Don't know about the rest.

I don't think there are any fancy bushings, at least, I don't remember there being any when I installed mine.

The bumpstop is just a daystar, it should be pretty easy to find and probably costs $20-$30 or so. I think the rear shocks are maybe $50-$60 each. You got yourself a great deal!

That part # is not good at my local dealer. Thanks for the help though. Rancho themselves thinks it may be an old Durango application late 90's or so any help please!

They are absolutley right about the rear shocks. They are for a Dodge Dakota/Durango model. The reason is the extended shock length that these have compared to the stock shock length (or in my case the BDS rear shock length). I think they measure nearly an 1"+ over standard shock length.

RSX17004 is the correct part # to use for the rear shocks. I recently installed them and had to use 4 washers on the top to eliminate shock squeak. They fit really nice and ride awesome!! I previously had the BDS shocks on the rear and they just do not compare.

Maybe I should look at putting in some Daystar bump stops or I might find myself extending the rear too much and having my spring fall out (isn't there an actual video of that happening?).

After further investigation the dealer did find the right shock. Of course I had to download Ranchos' shock application chart and insist that was the #. But even my cost is probably going to be more than what I can buy it from AllJ. However I have a charge with my parts warehouse. Thanks everybody for their help. Later----Paul
