Once again, Heather from All J products saved the day, getting me my 1/2" spacers for the rear on time. I'm set to depart for Crozet, Virginia in the morning. I'll be waving the L.O.S.T. flag, DaveKJ02 might come. Anyway, here is the KJ now with another 1/2" spacer in the rear and Rusty's strut plates up front:
While installing the 1/2" spacers, I discovered some rock rash on the LCA box:
Also, thanks to Darby for the great idea on where to store my HiLift jack, it fits like a glove! Expect lots of pictures and a full report on Crozet Monday. |

Enjoy that little scratch to your LCA. You'll see people with their LCA's crumpled up to the bolt. Now your KJ is starting to look like a Jeep (with the bend in the LCA) that goes off-road. |

Nanette, The HiLift ended up under the backseat, just opened the back door and slid it in like it was made to go there. Like Darby suggested, I used some bungy cords to secure it to the seat mounts. Mutt |

Did the Rusty's strut plate help your front end? I was looking into them, but the forum chatter seems to be negative on them. What is your opinion since your a first hand user. Thanks, |

Here is a pic of the HiLift Jack under the seat:
I really like it in that location because it has little side to side, can't enter the foot compartment due to the seats frame mounts, and it stays clean. Keeps the thiefs at bay also. Darby, look closely in that pic and you'll see mud on the door sills. Well that and driving it through the flood water powerwashed the under carriage. |

I really like the look of those tires...and the Silver Sports look good with the gray cladding and black on black rubber/rims And a 48" Hi-Lift will fit under the seat...some models you have to remove the base. A trick when using a Hi-Lift on the side of the KJ (by any door...even the back) is to open it first if possible. That way if it starts to lean in it won't dent your body. |

Thanks, So far it seems to work, I added it to regain the lift I lost when my springs broke in. Right now I'm happy because I got the stance back, I'll let you know how it performs Monday. ..........and yep, that is a 48" HiLift. |

That's where mine is. Never bungeed it though and haven't heard a rattle (at least not over any other rattle). Opening the door before using the lift is key! |

Ill never figure out what going on with your BS mutt. My 16x8 rims with 5" BS is around 1" past the fenders. I just do not understand why you do not tare the rear fenders off when you flex... |
