My noise has been getting worse so I pulled my discos off the Jeep last night and there were very noticeable wear spots on the top tube and weld. If I were to reengineer these things I would put some offset at the top to keep the swaybar ends from clanking against the discos. But since I can’t do that I came up with another solution…

Go to Home Depot and get some of those rubber feet you would slip over the ends of chair legs. Cut off the closed end and now you should have a hollow rubber cylinder about 1” long. Cut it open along one side and slip it around the top of the disco with the zerk fitting coming through the cut. Secure with a zip tie and reinstall. The new “bushing” should rest between the upper tube of the disco and the swaybar.

I still have a little noise, but for $1.50 this isn’t a bad fix. I’ll take some pics later.

Please get those pictures up when you have the time. Would it be possible to use rubber hose instead, like black vaccum or heater hose that they sell at autoparts stores?

Yes, that would work great...I just used what I had on hand.

Could probably also use the heavy wall shrink tubing.
