| Post subject: | Front Bumper |
I'am looking to get a good front bumper. Trying to pick between a few, looking for horror stories. Does arb require a better front spring? What other alternatives are out there? I like the Rock Lizard but to get a winch you need to move fog lamps back. any good ideas out there. |

What does the fog lights have to do with the Rock Liz bumper, it plugs into the recovery hitch only when you need it. Am I missing somethig? |

anyone know if they are going to make one for 02-04 kj's. but looking at the bumper it already has turnsignals in it. would it be possible to delete the factory ones and use the bumper meant for the 05 and up??? |

ARB bumpers are overpriced, not expensive just over price. I ordered my Rock Lizard bumper and would like to see a picture of a winch on it. As a matter of fact if you have awinch on their bumper post it, let's see what it looks like. |

Yes its still in the factory location and the Bar includes a steel bash plate just for it. The guys from TJM made sure it cleared my 245/75/16's on 8" rims with 4.5" backspace so it will be fine. Although......just recently I removed it completely in an effort to clear up as much space as possible for the planned 265/75/16 MTR upgrade. |

The tjm looks great i'am waiting for an email back from them with pricing. Have you had any problems with the d-rings underneath grabing. For those who need picture of Rock Lizard bumper i have included one. Notice fog lamps are tilted back not usable with winch in place. I'am interested in the tjm.

![]() Only reason the lights are tilted back were because Ted shortened the winch cradle quite a bit, and with it being the first prototype, the holes were a last minute addition, so the lights were about 1/4" too close toward the front of the bumper. The production models won't have that problem because I will move the holes back a little bit, just incase someone alters their winch mount. I can't remember how much he cut off, but it was like 2-3". |

TJM doesnt sell this bumper in the US, as far as I know. More than likely they will not respond to your email as well. I called them and they said that I had to call my local distributor. Well I called my local distributor, 5 of them, and they all told me TJM doesnt make a winch bumper and all they make is that little center piece bull bar. That TJM bumper along with the hydraulic winch is bad booty though! Im gettin wood over that |
