Post subject:  Upper ball joint question?

I am currently running with OME 927 front coils and Ome nitrocharger struts on the CRD. I have also installed front top spacers . I have the ARB bullbar. I see mention in some articles of the upper ball joints possibly coming into contact with the a-arms . Can anybody advise me on what I should be checking on to see if I am encountering this problem. Off road I do not seem to notice any foreign sounds from the front end , except if If I get a bit of air time under the front wheels topping a sand dune there is a fairly loud clunking noise which I assume may have something to do with the bump stops. The noise I hear is when the coils are fully extended and not on impact . On road the front end is not too smooth over one of those nasty little speed humps either and sometimes I get a similar " clunk " noise from the front suspension. It would seem that the noise eminates from the top of the suspension area and hence my question regarding upper ball joints. I have already had the lower ball joint re-call done .

Oh ! I have OME 948 Coil and Nitrochargers on the rear . Appreciate any feedback.

The balljoint is part of the upper a-arm. It hits the spring at full droop. Full droop means the front suspension is dropped down as far as it can go.

I made a bumpstop to fix my upper balljoint contact.
