from another post.... Re: Exhaust Flowmaster series 50 SUV is what I have buy the part yourself then take it to a muffler shop - cheaper than having the shop buy it for you and charge you more the muffler shop will need to add a piece of pipe check this thread out - look towards the bottom http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... flowmaster make sure you order CENTER IN / SIDE OUT it sounds great - and I've felt a bit more power - just barely noticeable |

i agree, go with the flowmaster 50 series SUV. it wont be too loud on the inside, but still give a nice throaty sound outside. and it dosent cost a arm and a leg. |

Magnaflow cat-back is amazing. Stainless steel, throaty... looks great. I would definitely recommend it |

I have the magnaflow which considerably louder than stock and they claim an 18HP increase. I cannot percieve a performance increase, but I like the way it sounds. If you don't enjoy hearing the exhaust note, then I suggest you reconsider. You probably will not feel the performance gains but you will certainly hear any aftermarket exhaust in the interior of the vehicle. I think I have heard the aftermarket exhaust mopar sells (borla made) is pretty quiet. |

Look in the new 4WD & Sort Utility mag, they didn't get much with an intake and exhaust change. Spent something like $250 per hp. |

Aero Turbine is my choice but I run diesel. Those mufflers run about $175 or $225 with resonator which I think is worth the extra price, I got about 2mpg increase just from that. They create a vortex out of your exhaust by moving exhaust faster through the center which both lowers temps and eliminates back pressure. Go to parleysdiesels.com they seem to have the best prices on these mufflers. |

Magnaflow is definitely louder inside... which is actually what I wanted. My buddy has a Gibson and I think mine definitely sounds better. |
