If I were to buy new rear shocks and I wanted to get a longer set, what part number would I need? I seem to remember someone saying it is the same number as the Durango. Is there any truth to this? |

Read this. New OME rear KJ long travel shocks. I believe OME have probably the best shock available on the market for the KJ's . This is the new super dooper long travel version, cheap by comparsions sake. Just make sure you get someone to put in a lower bumpstop of around 35mm. http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... hp?t=16172 |

I've been thinking about just getting these when it's time to replace my Rancho RSX 17004's : http://rustysoffroad.com/Merchant2/merc ... sus_kj_par And just shortening my shock mounts by 2 inches, which I want to do anyway because of how low they hang. The Rancho's I listed above are the Durango ones that you are asking about. |

Thats what I am going to do on my wifes KJ, just raise the lower mounts up and run the shorter shock. I have beaten the mounts up pretty good anyhow so time for them to move. |
