| Post subject: | Bolt Torque on Frankenlift OK after 14 months |
My Frankenlift has been installed for 14 months with about 16,000 miles and some mild off-roading. While rotating my tires, I decided to check the bolt torque on the front and rear suspension components. I have read on some lift instructions to check the bolt torque 500-1,000 miles after installing a lift (I never did this check). I am happy to report that I did not find any loose fasteners. I do check/tighten the hose clamps on the front bumpstops every oil change as these clamps do loosen up. Just wanted to pass this info on. |

I'm happy to hear about your good fortune. 16K and nothing loose is pretty lucky. BTW, you're only about 90 minutes from where I live. I'd love to see pics of your KJ. |
