Post subject:  custom craddle
I was thinking of some way's to make my lift bigger on my kj without the common cv problem and it seem's as though the biggest problem I could think of is the craddle.You see all of these other IFS rigs that have bigger lift's (fj,x-terra,hummer,silverado)and all of them have a custom craddle.So I was thinkin why wouldn't someone or manifacturer make one for our rig's?I know of the craddle drop but that seem's like mickey mouse work and would like it to be more proffesionally done.What are you thought's on this?

I agree,I think the blocks and chunks of steel look cheesy! I think that in the near future your going to start seeing your idea unfolding,but not until we convence someone with enough cash and knowledge to gamble on a market for it. :wink:

Well I am a dealer for Rusty's off road through the jeep dealership I work for and might ask Rusty if he could matbe fab one up.If there is enough interest I think he would do it.He is currently fabbing me some stuff now as prototype's so maybe that could be next.

So Al don't you think a custom craddle is worth making or do you just think it won't be done.I will do whatever to get more lift.I was even thinkin about selling my kj to get a xj but I would lose so much money b/c I have so much time and money in this rig.Maybe I will just have to go SFA
