How much bigger did you go? As with anything, adding rotational inertia without increasing the diameter of brake causes a loss in performance. the brakes on the Liberty seem OK to me with a stock tire size and not really anything extra added on but a sample size of 1 is never really good enough.

If you are really having problems get yourself a set of ceramic brake pads and a new set of Napa rotors. The ceramic pads offer more bite, but will heat up the rotors more so there is a chance of warpage (hence just getting cheap rotors)

Glad to still see you around on here.

I do notice a little bit more stopping requirement with my discs brakes all around (ABS). Not much though. MTR's 245/75/16

Did not replace rotors.
