Are there heated side view mirros for the KJ?

My '02 Sport has them -- I didn't even know it until I saw the funny symbol on the mirror.

I believe they come on with the rear window defrost.

Yep, turn on your rear defrost and if you have it, the side mirrors defrost as well.

If your mirror is heated, there should be a symbol to indicate as such. I'll run out and take a picture for you to compare it to. BRB

You would have to take a look at the current factory connector - I'm pretty sure that there is a 12V power source that needs to be in place (that is activated off the rear defrost switch.) If that wire is pre-exisiting, than the upgrade would be as simple as buying the heated mirror assembly and bolting it in place.

So we need to pull the inner door panel and look at it then.... it was not a very expensive option if i remember right, so here's to crossing our fingers. Its to cold to check right now here maybe in a month or two. I don't have a heated garage and 10 degree weather is no time to be working on stuff for fun.
