I think this is a new product. I suppose they might look pretty good but not provide much protection? http://www.westinautomotive.com/

I don't disagree with you, however there is this from Off-Roads Adventure magazine "The Platinum Series steps, manufactured from 304 stainless steel tubing, either black powder coated or chrome plated, protect a 4x4’s rocker panels from errant rocks and brush. For even more protection, the chrome plated stainless Sport Tube Accent Bars fit snugly against the rocker panels with no loss of ground clearance. To balance the look of the rig, Sport Tubes are available in 2-inch tubes for compact 4x4s, or 2.5 inch tubing for mid and full-size models." http://www.oramagazine.com/pastIssues/0 ... tinprofile I don't actually encounter a lot of rocks on my hunting, fishing and mushrooming adventures. It might be more like mud and deep dust generally - so the Sport Tubes could work for me and probably look pretty good. Westin also has some good-looking (although very expensive) Sportsmen's Series brush/grille guards for the Liberty. |

If you think they will work for you they go for it but I think nolakj had some on his rig and almost ripped them off the first time he went off road I dont know if they were westin or not but those things are all the same |
