So I was looking back at pictures of the Liberator, and while I was sitting there, pondering any easy ways to possibly make my KJ into that incredible looking vehicle, I figured I'd hop on here and ask a few q's.

1- Has anyone attempted a bumper simmilar to the one on the Liberator? would it be possible to get one made based on the pics alone?

2- What about the paint. I'm not interested in the colors (ok, I am, but I'm not paying for it) but rather, how could one pull off a similar hood look?

3- Anyone gotten that canvas roof or the rails? The rails I would throw on now, the roof would be a very attractive mod after its paid off.

I know a lot of this is looks only, but it would still be great.

Warm up your credit card and find a shop that specializes in those types of mods. It would be very cool to duplicate the custom front bumper and grille w/ the signals incorporated into the headlights. I dig the roof rails but not sure if I would like the canvas roof. I am sure it would be cool until it started to wear and leak like I bet it would. I wonder who has the Liberator? I remember reading that superlift (IIRC) had it for testing and was wheeling it in Moab last year at EJS. I saw it in person the first year it came out at EJS and it is a sweet Jeep.

Did they actually wheel it? I've seen pics of it parked with rock around it, but I've never seen any of it actually moving.

Yes, it was seen on trails in Moab last year at the Safari. I think it was the lift company that was wheeling it. There were rumors they were going to test and then release the lift setup that was on it. Not sure how much truth there is to that though.
