I have 2 rusty's .75 spacers that have been replaced with Rustys full coil lift now my question/idea is if I was to just cut the top half off that the strut sits in 1/4" could I just use that 1/4" piece for a clevis lift rather than buy the washers to level out the front ?????

I am not sure what spacer you have but I think the one you are talking about is polly?
if so then I would think that would be a bad idea how ever there is n easy solution that was posted up here a while back its real easy
go to homedepot or where ever you can to buy some 1/4" thick by 3" wide alum flat bar but a 3" hole saw and a 2 1/8" I think hole saw
out the pcs you need ,make rings, I did it and it works good and was easy to do
bets and cheepest thing would be to get with a few others and split the cost
