I've seen the molded slush matts for the front, but is there anything available for the rear cargo area? I'm looking for something my duck dog can sit in while wet and muddy.

I know Mopar has one, works pretty good for me, but I also think Husky makes one too. WeatherTech I think makes one too.

Find them at jparts.com $83.27

They have quick shipping and reduced pricing. Cheaper than ebay.

The mopar one will also fit better. I read on here that there was a change to the rear plastic trim between years and someone got a mat from another company that didn't fit properly. I sure needed one of these when I was loading bricks and mulch in the back of my KJ last spring.

The padded mat version is pretty much what the words say and it goes up the back of the seats as well and has the 60/40 split:

The molded rubber version which has a bit of a lip to it and does NOT go up the back of the seats is:
http://jparts.com/advanced_search_result.php?osCsid=6f6bc29e8cca8d52e72838c2d78bb09e&osCsid=6f6bc29e8cca8d52e72838c2d78bb09e&keywords=82209254&x=0&y=0

Personally, I'd like one that has the molded bottom for water containment and padded back AND sides for scratch/dirt resistance. I don't think anyone has such a beast, though. It wouldn't be that hard to fabricate out of some sheets of rubber matt and perhaps some wide velcro strips for attachment to the base section 8)

The Mopar one fits like a glove and goes up the sides an inch or two. There are cover thingys you can take out to still use the cargo tie downs.

Well, I went from needing one of these to ordering one!

I took my used oil and coolant in for recycling on Monday and the coolant sloshed around and soaked through my "protective" blanket arangement I had going on. Does anyone have any pictures they want to post on what the MOPAR cargo mat looks like?

Mine will be here tomorrow (thanks to jparts) but I'm just wondering about the mat head of time. :D

i would go with the Husky one, personally because it looks rugged and doesn't hav the little pop-outs that might be lost or let water in like the Mopar one does. Not saying that the mopar one is bad, just an opinion b/c i got husky's all around. Image

Just as a side note, I searched a while for the Husky liner for a decent price and found the cheapest at Amazon. It took a while to find though Amazon's horrible search engine... but I paid about $61, which was $25 cheaper than I could find elsewhere.

It fits quite nice as well and looks good...as serves it purpose well with the dog, until he shakes and mud and water end up everywhere!

Good luck

I did look into the Huskey equipment - but I really wanted to have access to those tied-downs. They are really handy for me because I'm always driving around with stuff in the cargo area. I also have a cargo net and they use the tie-downs as anchors

Yes, the Mopar one could let water through the tie down spots.
For what it's worth, here's the darker shade.

Guess I should clean the Jeep soon.

Post subject:  Mopar mat

Just ordered my mat from the dealer last week. At the dealer we looked up the part and filled out the paper work. When I went to pickup the mat, the guy hands me a wiring kit  . Apparently my tech wrote down the wrong number. After blaming me for ordering the wrong part, I had the manager pull out the catalog. Sure enough, there was the pen marks right there beside the mat! The manager apologized and gave me 20 bucks for my trouble. Honestly, this was an easy mistake and had they not accused me or screwing up I would not have asked to speak with the manager.
