Not enough KJ videos

I applaud thee...i knew it had been done I had seen pictures but to see the video is even better....awesome...a few metal crunching sounds but all is well..

Left front (where the fog lamps are) press tight against the rock. Then, as you see, the rear takes a hit. But if you've wheeled much you know that spot on the rear bumper always gets hit. The clank, though, was the rear D shackle. Nothing more.

How many others have done that in a KJ...or has it only been you? That's pretty crazy...definitly a potential to screw something up major.

God I wish I lived out west.... :cry:

Our bunch did it just fine. About 6 KJs as I recall. JJ was the only stuck in his XJ; a case of too much flex, he jammed his tires up into his wheel well and froze 'em. He finally got through on his own. Everyone else slid right through.

For those that don't know, that is in Moab. Looks like the 2005 trip with Olaf as spotter and Mike watching near him.

I had, for a long time, some still shots of my run through The Crack--thus my avatar--but until recently did not know there was a video of it.

We should have marked that line w/ spraypaint, it was The Perfect KJ line for sure. It was funny how it Wasn't the perfect XJ line though. Between following the line they gave me ( :roll:

) and stuffing my tire Into my front bumper, Matt sure made it look easier than I did. :lol:

That is one dang fun trail though!

Oh dont forget that a CRD made it through in ONE wheel Drive. AZScout had some diff trouble to say the least. Man I'll have to look at the CD of pics, didn't take too many myself on this trail. I think I have video that JJ's son shot too. Guess I'll have to do looking around.

back on topic though. YouTube has some KJ videos. Mostly the KJEXPED Group from Canada. They have some neat stuff though.

Yeah, too much flex. I have bumpstops installed now.
