Hi everyone! posted here too to get maximum view... time to remove winter tires is near and when doing some calls for prices , seller gave me numbers....a bfg at in 245-75-16 will be 30.5 hight and 9.8 width and I know It will fit well cause its the size of my winter tires and I have not removed the pinch weld... but the man gave me the idea of a 265-70-16 mesuring about 30.7 hight and 10.6 width(a little less on a stock 7 or 7.5 large wheel he said) so it looks like a good idea, just .2in higher and 1/2 -5/8 larger. I think with 1.25 wheel spacer it will fit pretty well and will not harm gearing more than 245's since its just .2in more high, because I think 245-75-16 do harm the vehicule at highway speed a little. so tell me what you guys think about this! have to go bye Éric ps: the jeep has 2.5 rusty coil and 1/4 clevis |

No spacers. They rub on the fog light door on hard turns but not enough to the point that I've ever cut away any of the plastic or even cut off/pounded down the pinch weld. There is certainly a bit of strain around 55-60mph, though I'd think any larger tire would do it. I have no problem cruising the highway at 80-85mph regularly. I'll see about getting some other angles...thats all I've got hosted at the moment. |

Very nice looking KJ...I really like how the tires fill out the wheel wells. |

i just got in my 265/75/16 BFG k/o's today!! i payed 791.60 for all 5....... and the frankenlift was just ordered.. so i'll let you know very soon. I have spidertrax wheel spacers now.. because i'll need them for the 265's. if you dont have them i believe it will rub on the sway bar.. but that's just what i've read on here not from experience. besides that.. at full flex i've heard they'll pop off the rear flare but bumpstops can correct that. Go for them! the bigger the better! this might help you out... http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... php?t=6357 unixxx posted a great paragraph one that page that explains everything very nicely. |
