You can get them at a dealer the pt# is 52088746AA(about $26) or on the web from a place like worldpartsexpress.com.You will need special tools which are rather hard to come by and are pricey. The special tools required are 8839,8858-1,8858-2,and 8858-3 all made by miller tools(those are DCX tool numbers). |

isn't the LCA & clevis 2 separate things I'm not trying to confuse or anything I'm not that mechanicly inclined these bushings are at the bottom of the clevis bracket unless it's called the LCA maybe I'm confused |

Are talking about the bushing that the lower clevis bolt goes through(under the CV shaft)? If so it is pressed in,see pic below, the one I'm talking about is item 13(item 13 with the single arrow pointing to it). ![]() |

I need to replace the ones in mine soon too. They are shot. Wonder if there is a better replacement maybe made out of poly? Hmm.... |

Quote: JJsKJ I actually thought about having some machined out of billit steel, little rougher of a ride but at least they wouldn't wear out.By the way I have 2 new lower clevis bushings and some of the tools needed to remove/install them(pt# 8839,couldn't find the rest but big sockets can be used) that I need make disappear.

aircraft graft (6061) aluminum, maybe? I run a cnc lathe so making them wouldn't be a problem, if anyone has the exact dimensions I'd need. Obviously, they wouldn't have the "swell" at one end like the rubber ones do now but, they wouldn't move as much, either. Ride would definitely be a lot harder so I'm not sure how that would work out on rock. |

No. 6 connects to no. 13(the one with the single arrow) with a bolt on the LCA and the top(no.6) wraps around the bottom of the strut assembly. The pic below(sorry not a good pic) I circled the bottom of the clevis and the clevis bushing,is that the one your are talking about? ![]() |

Good, always good to be sure. You can get them at a dealer or any place on the web that sells OEM parts like worldpartsexpress.com.I have two new one's and some of the special tools required(tool # 8839) I'm willing to part with for cheap.A dealer is going to rip you off big time for labor, here in Colorado Springs they wanted $1200 to replace those bushings and $1380 to replace all the LCA bushings(OUCH).Just ordered new LCA that come with all the new bushings and with the alignment cost me about $500. |

TJKJ - I should take the same picture of my front right IFS like you did to show what salt in the winter does to it! Everything is dark brown/red rust. Which makes working on it a challenge... |
