Gotta luv DC... ...Well my KJ in in my local mechanics shop today getting MOOG ball joints installed because I got tired of waiting since getting on the recall waiting list back when they announced. Guess who called and left me a message today saying they are ready for me to come in...Yep my dealer called to say my name up up next on the list...figures.

Double good for me tho is that he called and said my brakes are super low and need replaced...been too darn cold lately I have checked them in a while...

Talk to DC I read somewhere in here that they installed MOOGs instead of doing the recall and DC reimbursed them

Is your mechanic doing the brakes for you as well? It'll probably save you an arm and a leg in $$ that you can then, in turn, but into the gas tank since the local petrol shops are charging double an arm and a leg for a gallon of gas.

Sorry... 8)

Yeah, I told him to go ahead and change them while they had the wheels off. They are really good when it comes to doing only the work needed and not changeing an arm and a leg. Simply put they are a good honest mechanic shop...even if their primary specialty is Toyotas... :)
