Has anyone noticed that they make the Ected for the Dana 30 27 spline 3.73 now? 4-wheel Parts has it for $589.99 but you get a $25 gift card w/ purchase. Hmmmm........anyone look into this yet? |

I had done a search on here a week ago or so and read some discussions from March. Folks weren't comfortable putting it in the front due to it reverting to a LSD when un-locked. I would really like to know how it compares to the TruTrac when un-locked. |

Talk to Auburn. When I talked to them they recommended against using on the front. |

Wish they would make the switchable lsd/locked for the 8.25 in the rear, and one for the 30 up front that wasn't lsd when not engaged. That would be about perfect. |

You might remember my post rant back a few months ago when I contacted them and they said they don't plan to make one for the 8.25...or something like that. |

I remember a discussion about it. I wonder if they have a Jeep or Dodge that will come with the 8.25 and that as an option. Some times they don't make an item until they are guaranteed 1000's of units. Other times it only takes a dozen or two. Did they give any indication of a possible group buy or a small run of them? |

Are you talking about an Ected for the 8.25? They do not plan to make one. Period. It would take a lot of people to hit them with requests to possibly change their mind. |
