well, i think i wore down honey enough to finally lift my KJ. howz this sound: rusty's springs and rusty's struts (hopefully they are OME's as the rumor has it), and OME standard length rear shocks. maybe 2 rear spring isolators on each side, and maybe 2 or 3 locknuts on each side in front. im hoping with the extra rubbers and locknuts i wont over-stress anything underneath. so whatcha think? |

Sounds like a plan! That will get you looking and working real well. |

Yep, I think you'll be happy with that. If you're really worried about over stressing stuff, just stick with two clevis spacers. seems like that's a farely safe amount, anyway. I didn't use any and I have almost NO stress on my axle boots, even at full droop. I think I may go ahead and add one when I change out the LCAs. I didn't think the front would settle quite as much as it has. |

I don't think you want to go with the "standard length" N132's OME rear shocks with that much lift. i would look at getting the OME N132L's from Allj's. you should be fine with your lift option! |

Oh, I missed that part. yeah, definitely want to get longer shocks, otherwise I'd think they would wear out faster from bottoming out all the time. I still have the Doetsch Tech 8000s that I bought with my RRO budget lift. When those wear out, I'll definitely be ordering the N132L's to replace them. |

Yeah I just got done purchasing my wish list with my tax return. I got the Rock Lizerd rear bumper and super sliders, renegade light bar and roof rack, the new CRD full suspension frankenlift and a Powertrax rear locker. "They just aint arroved yet." I am still waiting for the TJM front bumper and Gibson snorkel but I should be able to pick them up in the next month or so. Good luck on your wish list. Let us see ;ots of picks when its done. |

You cant wear out shocks from bottoming them out on down travel shocks are what keeps the axel from "falling off" it is the down travel limiting factor Now up travel is a shock killer and as far a my limited knowlage goes most long travel shocks do not compress as far as standard shocks wich means that you will need bump stop spacers I dont know much about the OME's so they me be different |
