Sure you could but the weight of the ARB will cause the front to sag prematurely, esspecially if you have a winch. I wouldn't recommend it, but many LOST member run this set up. |

I had OME struts and springs on the front Jason. I changed the coils out for the Rustys springs to gain alittle more lift. I had the MED ome springs and recieved around 1in more lift when I put the rustys springs in. You would probably loose lift if you went with the OME HD springs since they are not made to give as much lift. I called All J's awhile back then I was thinking about moving up to the Franken lift. They said they could sell me the upper strut plate and the spacer thats used with the Franken lift which would of basically given me a front Franken lift. I didnt want that much lift, so I went with the rustys coils. So you would need the OME HD coils, the spacer they use on the Fraken lift, and the Upper strut plate they use. The plate takes some of the pre-load off the spring so you can compress it with the spacer in there. |

Rusty's has some upper strut plates for heavy bumpers. I got some but haven't put them on yet. I don't know how well they will work. They are 1/4 " thick = 1/2" of lift. |

You really need to look at spring rates not what spring will give you the most lift "TODAY" Rustys will sag over time. Spring rate for Rustys is lower than OMEs.OME Heavy dutys will last you a lot longer, go the best way first and save money by not doing it again. OMEs were developed to handle the weight of the ARB so why not use them and be done with it? |

i wasnt planning on buying an aftermarket bumper till rock lizard came out with his, then his time frame for shipping kept getting pushed out futher and further, so i canceled my order. then i wasnt going to get one AGAIN, and this arb kind of fell in my lap, so here i am. i still have PLENTY of lift. i've wanted more lift since BEFORE i got a bumper, so... you know how it is. get something, then want something bigger, meaner, more capable, so.... LOL |

I never even got to the point of thinking about any front bumper and was really thinking of going with the Rustys lift, but then the ARB came up for next to nothing so went searching again and ended up with the OME springs etc. Back when i was searching (September/ October 2004) there was a lot of discussion of Rustys sagging over time so that was another reason for me to go with the OMEs. I mean I have less than 750 in my lift and bumper together, but I think its one of the best setups without going to the frankenlift. Not knocking anyone that has a Rustys as I said that was my first choice for a while. But the spring rates is what brought me to OMEs |

no doubt.. totally understand where your coming from... i WILL have to do something eventually as the springs will eventually sag to the point of tire rubbing, etc... would like a franky front only, but 500 is too much, so i'll have to piece a front lift together like you did.. |
