| Post subject: | AllJ Boulder Bars Install pics? |
Does anyone have any pictures of the rear frame mount point for BoulderBars on a 2005? I just want to make sure mine is in the right spot before start drilling holes. Do you really have to drill the mount for the trailing arms? It doesnt look right. I would call AllJ but they are gone for another week again. Thanks. |

If you have the 7 (maybe?) 1/4-20 bolts in the pinch weld then the frame holes are drilled where they come to rest. I used a jack to get the mounting area flush with the bottom of the frame when I installed the bb's onto my 03. |

yeah, I used the template to drill the holes for the pinch weld, and hooked the bars on there with the bolts and nuts, but just didnt like the looks of where the brace closest to the back tire that goes to the frame, hits the frame. It is going to require that I drill through the mounting bracket for the trailing arms (think those are trailing arms, may have wrong terminology). Just seems wierd to drill thru that and be using self tapping bolts. But I may just be worrying to much. |
