I was checking into buying one of the Stafford diff collars for my Libby (Aluminum PN: 8A309.) I called a local dealer and he said it was $95 for one or if I order 3+, the price would drop to $70 with tax. So, I was thinking, since there seems to be enough interest around here to get another 2 people to go in with me to get the lower price. Any takers? I'm figuring with Paypal fees, it would be $72.50 + shipping, which is really close to the group buy that LOST had last year. I'm not trying to make a penny on the deal so there is no markup on my part. I would ship via USPS so shipping should only be a few bucks. Sorry, but I'm not shipping overseas. Let me know if you are interested. The supplier said that Sheffield said that it would be about 3 weeks for delivery because they are out of stock and are scheduled for production in the next few weeks. |

If you are truly interested, send me a PM with your zip code so I can figure out the shipping costs. If I get a commitment for 5+, I'll give the guy a call back and see if we can get any more discount if we get that many orders. I am going to have to to draw the line and say that the last day to PM me with your ZIP will be Thurs., May 3rd. After that, you need to send me the balance via Paypal by Sun., May 6th since I will be ordering the collars on May 7th. |

Update... I am waiting for my local shop to get back to me to see if there is any more discount if we can get more orders. He's supposed to call Stafford today and let me know. My guy said that he does not expect further discounts unless it was a large # of collars, but that he would find out regardless. I'll send out price quotes once I find out if there is any additional discounts. Right now I have 5 people who have expressed interest. |

My dealer called me back...If I can get 8+, the price drops another $3. Not alot, but $3 is $3 right? So this is what I'm going to do. I'll send everyone a shipping quote with the total using the normal price. If I get payments for 8 or more units, I'll throw $3 in cash into the box as a refund to those who payed full price with the collar when I ship it. |

That part looks an awful lot like the split-rings we make at my job. Can someone get me some pics, pre-installed? measurements? Guess I could take my calipers out to my Jeep at break-time and find those out, myself though, eh?
