Hey guys, I ran into this looking around on the internet for some lifted KJ pics, which is a little hard to find, and saw this:
33's on a Libby with a 3" spacer lift??? I think this is BULL$**T. What do you guys think? Any experience with this kit? Here`s the web page: http://www.billetlift.com This guys must go through wheel wells and balljoints like crazy!! |

Well you can tell just from that picture that it doesnt really work. All you need to do is run over a pebble and that thing would rub in the back |

it would work as long as you dont move it out of the driveway... if you stuffed the front OR the rear, you would tear the fender flares right off. it does look super sweet though.... |

Yeah, probably doable if you don't ever take it off road. Or turn the steering wheel... |

It is the dimensions of the wheel wells that stops us from 33's. Look at the rear tire and how close it is to the front of the rear wheel well. The front, althought it is hard to see from the pic, will hit the pinch weld in the rear of the front wheel well on just about any turn on a bumpy surface. |

LOL, that's exactly what I was thinking.. That's probably why it doesn´t have that many miles, according to the owner's CARDOMAIN site: www.cardomain.com/ride/2059901 I think I'll stick to my 2.5" daystar lift with my trusty 255/70/16's !! |

I saw 22"s on a Suzuki XL-7 ... They had a 10" tall 22" decal letting everyone know that they had 22" wheels ... I just wonder why they didn't have a bigger decal |

From his Cardomain site. It has 33X12.50X20 BFG AT KO'S on 20X9" wheels. The turbo diesel has K&N filter charger and Predator chip performance upgrades. The injectors are set at 22,000 PSI... Just had the exhaust done... 4" stainless open exhaust... the turbo has been turned up to 33lbs of boost... this jeep will do 13.21 seconds in the quarter mile!!!! Could this be true??? Especially with 33's. |

He needs the chrome doorhandle application... With those mods he could easily be at about 375 foot pounds of torque and around 190 hp. As for 13.21 time slip?...I would have to see it to believe it on a 4296# SUV on 33' Tires. What is his CarDomain site? |

3000 miles is plenty for those crappy bfg ats to have some bad wear patterns. id beware. my dad has to rotate his every couple thousand, and his alignment and shocks are good. <quote>the turbo has been turned up to 33lbs of boost... this jeep will do 13.21 seconds in the quarter mile!!!!</quote> ... uh, no? |
