OK I have melted it twice and they seem to be good to go now but should it rub more in the future could I just cut the bottom off? Rather my question is Has any one else done this? If yes got a pic? In 2 years I will probably just pull them out or when we gat an ARB bumper for it wich ever come first but the wife does not like rubbing at all I guess it would help if you knew that we had OME springs no clevis lift but room for about 3/8" of strut movement up out of the clevis if it become a must do We also have 245/75 MT/R's on stock wheels I want to avoid more lift at all cost because the wife is pregnant and more lift will make it even harder for her to park at the DR. when she goes because right now she comes within <2" of the top of the garge Thanks Jason |

I trimmed my bumper and the foglight doors (which were really useless since I had no fog lights) are gone. |

I guess I got lucky (and I deliberately went with slightly smaller tires to avoid rubbing) but, all I had to do was pound the pinch weld and trim about 1/2" off plastic, that curled back at the bottom of the wells, in front of the tire. No fog light doors under there on mine.

![]() ![]() Any pictures of what your KJ looks like from the side with those 245/70R17's? That's one of the tire combos I'm currently debating. |

You shouldnt need any trimming with the 245/70/16's since they fit a stock libby. I also run that size and have zero rubbing with my lift either on road or off. |

I ripped my fog light door off, not sure how, but now my clear turn signal retains moisture in it and looks errrrr terrible. |
