i posted this in the tires section also....im wondering if 32x9.50-15LT on 15x8 wheels would work on the liberty. im considering that set up for my YJ, and curious if they'd work on the libby from time to time. btw, the kj will have 2-1/2" to 3" lift |

There are very few 15" rims that will fit around the brake rotors. 32" trie might fit under a KJ with a 3" lift but, it's gonna be just barely and I'm betting it'll rub. |

i think some one said with a 3" lift i could put 33's on and thats the only reason i was looking at a 3" was for the tire size but i thought it would rub to, but didnt some one cut and raise fenders to fit a bigger tire or some thing |

I know someone here with 33x10.5 R16's on their libby here. They spent alot of money cutting out the fender wells and relocating washerfluid bottle and such doing it. Apparently it fits now on a lift. Not sure what the lift was in height, but the whole package was like $7000 w/ Labour. I only seen it once. And he left before I could talk to the owner. And the shop of course forget everything......unless I started buying things of course. |

I have 32" diameter tires on mine with a 4" lift and they just make it. I trimmed the wheel well on the rear door and of course the pinch weld is flattened and the front of the front liner was moved as far forward as possible. Joe (love my Liberty!) |

There are very few 15" rims that will fit around the brake rotors. Very true The way I see it is 265/75/16 are 31.6 D and 10.4 w 265/75/15 are 30.6D and 10.4 w so to get 15 you would need something like 285/75/15 are 31.83D and 11.22 w I dont think they will fit in the finderwell .I have done a LOT of fender well work both front and back.well I dont have any liners at all .I just linex the hole fenderwell. when you go that wide it starts rubbind in difrent places. I have even used 235/85/16 and had the same problems they were 235/85/16 are 31.72 D and 9.25 w Closes to 32" are 255/85/16 are 32.03D and 10.03w they will rub. |

will YJ wheels 15" fit on a Liberty , if not he will have to by 2 set of wheels to keep the 15" BP are the same ,try to fit your spare on the Liberty before you go any farther. you were talking about swapping wheels some time right. |

my hope/intention was to buy a set of 15x8 with 32's to fit my YJ, and i was hoping that because of the narrow width of the tires im lookin at, i was hoping that the same set-up might fit/work on the KJ for occasional trips...is that clear now? |

just make sure you have a 4.5" Backspacing on those and they should fit fine |
