![]() How do these compare to the ARB bull bars? Construction? Price? Installation? |

The bumper comes in two pieces, a winch sub assembly and a bumper. The yellow part you see in the picture is the bumper. The bumper is out of 1/8 inch steel, to keep the weight down. It bolts to the winch sub assembly. The winch sub assembly is constructed out of 1/4 inch steel. It bolts to the frame rails using 12, half inch bolts. You are looking at about 8-10 hours of install time for you first bumper. I think I could do the next one in about 3-4 hours. Half of the time was spent trimming the front fenders. I would say the bumper is every bit the ARB bumpers equal. They are both great bumpers. I just liked the way the way this bumper looked on the 05+ libby's better. The bumper weighs about 70lbs. |

Just wish they would have stuck to the original pricing and design. The TJM bumper was supposed to come out in the same price range as some of there other bars. It also lost the cross bar as on OZ's. Dtil thinking of getting one though, I have gotten about two prices and they differed very much. |

No, I came with the crossbar. I just didn't put it on. I paid 1k to have it shipped to the front door, but if you call around I bet you can get a better deal than that. |

Some questions regarding the 05 t17 bumprer. Why didnt TJM let us know that they received the shipment, or did they not receive them yet? Why is the T17 not on their website? And how am I supposed to order one? |

TJM did get the T17 bumpers in about 2 months ago and you're right they are not listed on their website. On their website they have a list of distributors. I just ordered mine through the local distributor here in Utah. The distributor then had it shipped to my doorstep. So the distributor realistically could be anywhere in the USA. They'll just have it shipped to you. Here is the distributors list. http://www.tjmbullbars.com/distributors.htm |
