Anybody used one of these on a KJ.

They were supposed to be the best lift available for an XJ. How have they done on the KJ's?

The frankenlift is based upon the OME lift, just with some added daystar spacers and either Rancho or OME struts and shocks.

The OME lift by itself is only 1.5" to 2". All J took that lift and bumped it up to 2.5.

I run OME on my Rubicon as well and love it.

OME is one of the best thought out lifts around. They build springs to make a vehicle handle better than stock with some lift also. Also make 3 differnt rates for the front to tailor the ride Look up their website and then read other posts on even range Rovers etc, very well respected company. I just bought the springs and struts did not actually buy an OME kits per se. If I ever get another vehicle OME will be the first place I look for a lift at.

Just installed a couple weeks ago. So far so good... Ride is much better than stock (though my struts were on their last legs) and lift amounts to about the 1.5"-2" advertised.

The old man emu lifts have done outstanding on the kjs as far as i know. There have NEVER been any complaints about them that iam aware of and the time and engineering that was put into these lifts is noticable due to it's great on and offroad ride quality and also proven performance! I would reccommend this lift to anyone with a kj or any vehicle, I know that my next vehicle(Jeep) will have another OME lift. As stated above the lift gives you about 2"'s of lift but with a easy and cheap clevis/Isolator lift you can get it to be 2.5" "s plus! The lift may cost a bit more than some others but you are paying for the quality which in my mind is well worth the extra $$$ ( not saying that the other ones are not good quality).

I have the OME lift minus the front springs and I love it. I would never buy a different set of shocks or springs..

The front springs didnt give enough lift to match the lift that the rear springs gave, so I had to buy some Rustys springs.. 8)
