Will this work? Will the 1.5-2" of lift allow these tires to fit without rubbing issues or would I have to go with 245/70/16's? I will either go with Moab wheels or black American Racing Fuel wheels with the same specs. Anyone else with this setup, or would it need the full 2.5" of lift to run the 75 series? Thanks in advance.

OK this is just me but I have a OME Heavy Duty springs on the front with a clevis, I just put a set of 245 75X16 Goodyear MTRs with 12/32 of tread on Moabs on mine with no problems. NOW with that said, I do have an ARB bumper which does away with any rubbing in the front. So you can go from there but I would say you should be able to do it fine even with a stock bumper. At most you may have to heat, bend some of the inner fender wheel area You will have to do your pinch weld as well, I didnt with the used tires but with new you will.

Installed MT/R's without a lift and had rubbing, I pounded down the pinch weld, still rubbed at full lock. Once I installed my 2.125 lift, had no rubbing, no additional trimming on my 05. I think you'll be fine with 1.5 or 2.0. The 245/75 R16's are about 30.5 inches tall. Go another inch taller and everyone has to do some trimming.

yes I have that lift with MTR's on OE wheels and only minor rubbing in the rear at very full stuff
dont get me wrong you do need to pound the pinch and move the fog lamp doors but it should fit
I have no rubbing in the front only the rear and with taller bump stops I would have zero rub out back

I tried to put 245x75s on an unlifted 06 with ARB and had significant rubbing (at about 1/2 max turn) It was mostly in the rear fender well but there was also some on the very corner of the ARB as well. No problems on the rear (from a street perspective). Am planning on the 2.5 Frankinlift and will have to wait and see if I can get the 245s back on there, based on what others have been saying I should be ok once I get the lift...

Hey,
I just got a 2" RevTek lift and put some new 245/75/16 BFG A/T's on stock rims and had no rubbing and I didn't have to modify anything to get them to fit. So I would say that you would be fine but thats just how it worked for me.
