I was just wondering (tho I think I know the answer) If there is a lift for a "02" KJ higher than 2.5? I am in the process of getting skids, bars and such and I am hoping the next thing is my lift or wheels/tires. Oh and 1 more thing ... is there a hidaway ladder or somethin, for those of us who are height challenged?

Just wondering :D

Yes. But not a good one-- just yet. Anything over 2.5 and it tends to bind the CV's. The 2.5 inch lift is a good start. Due to the variety of springs that come with the KJ-- these lifts may get you closer to 3 inches from your current height. Also, you can add a clevis lift to the front (an adjustment to the clevis, no parts needed) and some upper spring isolators to the rear ($25 a set). You can get an extra half inch out of that. Keep in mind that the tires add some height as well (.75 to 1 inch). So your 2.5 inch can really put you much higher off the ground-- 3.25 to 4.5.

Other options include swaping your IFS for a front live axle (custom) and a new 6 inch lift is coming out soon. Either one will cost $$$ and require extensive mods. The only other kits I know of consist of RockCrawler and Tough Country. One is a 3.5 inch lift and the other a 3 inch lift. Neither have a big following. I would expect you may have issues with either and RockCrawler has a poor reputation with this board (bad customer service, product misrepresentation).

If you get some step style sliders it may give you a place to get in easier. You can get some from Rock Lizard,
