so ive been serching around here and asking people what needs to be trimmed on the cv's per al's instructions for his 4 or 6 inch lift. I cant seem to find anyhting about it; just that it needs to be trimmed. So does anyone know what exactally has to be done? An if so any pictures of it?

i dont know about that. seems likeit would cost the same in labor to just have a set of high angle cv,s made instead.

Cutting the CV's is all a place would do for custom high angle CV's,or more correctly make the cups shorter and then they would charge you about a $1000 each for them and they would be no stronger then the OEM one's that you can cut yourself for just the cost of some new CV grease and boot clamps.

What if you cut the CV's on a stock rig, or mildly lifted?
