Post subject:  CO2 horn?

Does anyone know if it is possible to operate an air horn with compressed CO2? Or does it have to be air?

OK, that's an image that needs to get out of my head... Thanks for the replies. I was driving in town the other day and a pickup truck cut me off. I leaned on the horn, which normally another vehicle would have heard, but the stereo in the pickup was making its windows do this: BVVVT BVVVTT BVVVT-BVVVT BVVVT!! and that guy couldn't hear the horn. Hell, I could barely hear my horn because of his stereo. I was thinking: train horn! I've been mulling over the idea of compressed CO2 for a locker for a while, thinking I might catch two cats with one bag... :)

Any blueprints or guides on self-installing on-board compressor or tank and horns?

I know i spent about 3 weeks receiving and sending back air horns from JC whitney. not because of a wrong order, but it wasnt what i wanted at all.

wolo bad boys are more like a louder car horn than a deep, bone rattling, air horn. I'm not sure if that was what you were looking for or not.

Check out some salvage horns off of big rigs, or boats (I work at a marina, thats where i got mine). and a more than adequate air system is less that 200 bucks.

That's a good tip right there. Thanks, I'm going to check into that angle too. I've been looking at air horn options and there's a whole bunch of them.

Thanks, I am not sure where I can get those stuff, but I will look for it..
As for the wolo's, this is what I was talking about:
MODEL 820 / LOW TONE130 Decibels-180 HZ MODEL 825 / HIGH TONE 130 Decibels-220 HZ
I am not sure where I can mount it, because it is 28 in. x W 8 1/4 in. x H 4 1/2 in.
Here is the clip, it sounds pretty deep and might rattle a few bones. :) http://www.wolo-mfg.com/820.wav
