Which Rusty's kit are you referring to? Spacers or coils? Did you have an alignment done after lifting? Stock tires, still? Or have you upgraded/upsized? More info and pictures would help. These guys will be demanding pics soon, actually.

Did you get an alignment after the lift? You have to get the camber corrected as the lift will cause the tires to lean in/ go negative.

bad balljoints will cause a wander, too, don't forget.

Always align any time you do any suspension work.

Actually a lift will give positive camber. Sounds like his problem is the caster is out of whack causing the wander. Mine was the same way, just got it realigned today. it all good now.

Not on a IFS vehicle, lift=positive camber.

How do you figure that? When you lift the jeep off the ground you can watch the top of the tire move in.

If it gives positive chamber, then why do you get longer upper A-arm's from AL to push the top of the tire back out?

yes, i had it reallined, and i put new tires on there. and the lift is a coil lift.

Don't forget to check your hubs and both inner and outer tie-rod ends. The inner rod ends are much hard to check, and the steering rack is on a rubber mount so it has play in itself making it impossible to not feel any play. Also, your upper and lower control arms could be a little loose. I had to do a complete diagnostic on my front end and ended up replacing the lower ball joints and hubs just to get my alignment. Meineke said the inner tie-rods were shot too, but they can't actually see them and the play isn't too bad, so I had them align it anyways since I recently had the whole front end apart for the replacements. The front end of the KJ is like a frikkin' labrynth of parts that like to wear out quickly and need beefier replacements, in my experience.

If it's wandering it's toe in. Pretty normal after a lift. You can do it by hand if you want.

Camber should only affect how your steering returns to a straight line.

Your alignment could have been done incorrectly. Many owners on here have had issues with companies doing alignments on their KJ.
