Ok. So............I've got a 'clicking' noise, after turning, when in full-time 4. But NOT when in part-time. Any ideas? I thought that when the CV was bad, it would click regardless of whether it's in full OR part-time. :?

It's possible that there is some difference in driveline stress that is causing it to do it in full-time versus part-time. It might also be the difference in traction conditions where you use PT that is somehow affecting your CV joint differently.

CV joints can be very fickle; I had a 99' Taurus that had a CV screech in hard right turns until I replaced the tires, after that it never did it again. Get yourself some bigger tires to go with that frankenlift and see if it goes away!

Are you real sure? I thought I had CV's going bad for months... turned out to just be rocks getting caught in the tread of my tires.

Mine clicks something awful when turning. Its been doing it about three months or so. I do not know if one is going bad or which one it is. They will not click if I jack the Jeep up by the lower A-arm while turning the wheels to lock and spinning them. No slack in them or anything so idk..

Ive been thinking about taking the clevis lift out and seeing if they stop. I sit around 1in-1.5in lower than the Franken lift so they are not maxed out at all. :?
