Post subject:  gears

I just bought precision gears and genuine master install kits from 4wheelparts. Fast service and a decent bunch of guys.

Randys....Ringpinion.com
NEVER use Genuine Gears!!!! They have terrible tolerances and QC (plenty of stories on the web)
I have refused to set up Genuine gears since the after the 3rd set I did!
Yukon, or Precision gears are what I use when Spicer is not an option....

on Spike TV on cable X-treme 4x4 has a couple of after market places. Check out:

http://www.spidertrax.com/ or

http://www.truehi9.com/ or

http://www.alloyusa.com/ or

http://www.currieenterprises.com/

These site did not deal with KJ's on the show they were working on CJ's and JK's but they could be the source of information if it doesn't help sorry to waste your time. But in never hurts to check other angles until I found out about L.O.S.T. I did not know of but a few options for the KJ that is whats so great about this forum so many with one goal having a great time in your Jeep. Good Luck

I love my TrueTrac, works great.
I'm not an extreme off-roader but I do manage to find some dirt occasionally and - no issues.
