Does anyone happen to know the spline count of the shaft from the NV231J transfer case to the front drive shaft? Is it 21 or 23 splines? Does the pinion shaft of the front Dana 30A differential have 27 splines?. If it matters, the transmission is a NV3550 manual Thanks, Ron |

I finally had time to pull everything off and count for myself. Here is what I found. The pinion shaft on the D30A has 26 splines and the ouput from the NP231J transfer case to the front drive shaft has 26 splines also. |
