Today we wheeled the KJ at a trail in NH called Carnage The Liberty kicked stupid (the rear ARB helped:wink: ) A few TJ's and Yj's got stuck following her line The rig count had around 5 YJ/CJ on 35's and a few TJ's/rubis on 33's the long travel OME shocks worked great! This trail was for the black diamond prepped rigs ...

Those Maxxis are great tires...so are the Maxxis Buckshot Mudders. Salsa Liberty's have to be one of the best looking colors they ever came in...and yeah, MORE PICS |

I know of the trail that he's talking about & yes it does require 33's but with a well set up rig and good driving skill you can do it with smaller tires |

I'm assuming you've done massive trimming to fit those tires under there? |

Sorry about the lack of pics - I was out spotting. Plus most of the others who took pics are still out on the trail. Should have more by tomorrow. My wife loved getting through stuff and watching a locked YJ on 33's getting hung-up and winched over the same obstacle There was some carnage to the KJ - the washer bottle "self clearanced" and leaked out on the trail. She popped the right front tire off the bead when she plowed into a stump with the wheel cut hard left (aired down to 15 PSI) All the fending trimming helped - probably consider taking the liners out and relocating the washer bottle |

JeepinMax So are you pleased with the 235/85/16 bighhorns after this trial run? Also how bad was the rubbing and have you put in extended bumpstops yet? Looks good and congrats on showing some of those rubi's how it's done. Josh |

Got a few more pics. Still waiting on some more from one of the YJ drivers. Enjoy!
This one is not of the KJ but gives you an idea how the flat / easy parts of the trail are
Spotting was key:
Some flex (or not...)

Just one quick question. Did you fabricate that winch plate?where does is it attached? And what winch do you have? I was planning on doing something similar, but I am having trouble finding a place to attach it... |

Awesome pics! Do they come in a tire size that will fit a stock kj with no lift? |
