| Post subject: | Frankenlift or rustys 2.5 coil lift |
Hi all, I'm new to this board so Im introducing myself with a question: should I get a Frankenlift or rustys 2.5 coil lift, or rockfather 1 or 2 Or should I just trade the thing off on a grand cherokee? I know that these lifts have been compared before but I couldnt find any extensive comparisons... I do offroad moderately but this is also my daily driver so i try not to push it. I'm not afraid of breaking out the sawsall or dremel if I have to. cost is a factor, but I dont want to put something crappy on that Im not gonna be happy with. Finally, I dont plan on installing a heavy front bumper like the ARB but I am going to get a pushbar on the front eventually. Thanks in advance |

Number 1 choice is Frankenlift, very good product Number 2 OME coils with what ever shocks/ struts, I have Ranchos Number 3 I would guess Rustys coil lift you can do the OME/ Ranchos lift for the same price as a Rustys but OMEs will last longer I think you will find most of the ones on here are DDs Since 9/04 mine has over 88000 so it doesnt sit in the garage, been lifted way over 37000 and ride is great, would never go to anything else unless it was a Frankenlift My 2 cents worth this morning Tom |

I love my Frankenlift! It is on its second Liberty and still working great. BTW, Welcome! (insert commercial break) Another BTW, Save your money on the K&N and grab an Amsoil Eaa201 drop in filter. Reusable/cleanable, Dry filter NO OIL, flows great and affordable. (end commercial break) |

I did some more research and I like the ome setup. Frankenlift uses ome springs and a Daystar spacer, correct? Could I get the same effect with ome's and a clevis/ spacer lift? Is there any difference between the ome shocks/ struts and the ranchos? |

OME shocks are the best I would say with Ranchos in second. I like mine, ride good but have never had the chance (yet) to have the OMEs. I have right at 2.25/2.5 inches with a small clevis. Yes the frankenlift now uses the OME springs struts/shocks. They started out with the Ranchos |
