I am running 245/75's and they are killing my power on the jeep. If I am pulling a small trailer with a 4wheeler on it, my rpms shoot up every time I start going up a small incline. Notice I say incline and not HILL, that is even worse. Milage has went down too but I am not to worried about it. Does anyone else have any issues like this. I understand that there is going to be some lose of power but this is starting to wear me thin. Is there a tire size that will still look good with the lift that may be a bit smaller that I can get preferable in a MT? I was wanting to go with some 235/85's for the next set of tires but this is getting rediculous. Any help would be great.

Have you considered re-gearing the differentials to regain power?

Welcome to life with a modded Jeep,I have it and it's bad and I have regeared to 4.10's and running 32" tires.Oh and I'm in CO going from 5000ft to 6200ft in less then 10 miles all the time, and it seems uphill both ways  .

I have had it modded for sometime and have had other vehicles and they haven't been this bad. Any suggestions for another size or should I regear and stay where I am at and go to 32's?

I doubt you can get 32"s under there with the Rusty's lift. Just re-gear and you'll be happy with it, I think.

The biggest factor is the KJ is geared for MPG's,and the lack of low end torque doesn't help.4.10's with 31" tires is almost not low enough,4.56 gears with 32" tires would be perfect in a KJ,but sadly you can't go that low with the D30A front diff.
