 Post subject: skid... yes again!

i can get a skid row skid... JP-4003 Transfer Case Skid Plate and JP-4001 Engine Skid Plate.
would it be wise to get these and sell my stock skids or just keep the ones i got?

Get them,at least the front skid.It's 3/16" thick and you gain alot of clearence up front from it since it doesn't have all bulges that the OEM one's do,not to mention it's alot stronger.

I'm interested in any skids, at all. I'll be getting them soon no matter what but, cheaper is always better, if they aren't too "used." PM me if you decide to part with any of them.

It goes(from F to R) Front skid(also called engine skid),tranny skid,then the t-case skid.Even without any skids it would be pretty hard(you'd really have to try) damage or get close to the engine on the gassers,not the case with the CRD's and there oil filters.

so the front skid row skid replaces the front stock skid and the tranny skid row replaces the tranny skid? i am really not knowledgeable with these, but i will be on thrusday b/c i will be taking off all skids to clean them.
