I just bought a 04 renegade roof rack, and i need to know how to remove the 05 renegade roof rails, to put the regular roof rails on so that i can use the new renegade roof rack which does not fit over the 05 renegade roof rails.

Please explain how to get the roof rails off?

If they are the same as mine, 05 Limited, just pry apart the end caps. That is where you will find the bolts.

so those end caps just clip together?

Yes. You will need something thin to pry them apart. Careful not to break them.
