Will an 04-07 T-Case skid fit an 03 without major modifications? OEM #82209455 |

I was just at the stealership yesterday and they swore up and down they wouldn't guarantee it would fit. |

Bummer! I wish one of the bumper fab guys would make up some skids to match the 02-03 mopar style and price ( $50 to $75) I bet they make a killing since Mopar doesn't seem to be making them any more. Maybe Sundance Custom Bumpers would consider making a few for the L.O.S.T. people |

I honestly bet they do fit. Stealerships are always just trying to cover themselves. They dont do any add-on work. Only what Mopar manuals say. |

I bet JHCRASH could make some after seeing what he did with that bumper, and I'd rather give the money to a LOST member than the Stealership! |

It'll fit. I'd have to check mine but I believe I was able to get three of the four bolts in - one of the holes didn't line up with the hole for the nut-sert in the frame, but you could always drill thru the cross member and put one in. I'll try to get some pics of mine to verify which bolt was the problem. |

I got some ASFIR armor which was designed for an 04 and I got an 03. I got a CRD though, maybe this makes all the difference. I do not have problems fitting my skids. All I needed was to cut a bit into the skid because it was bent upwards (by design) near the trans crossmember which conflicted with the crossmember. All holes matched up, was a breeze to fit. |
