Got the 06 KJ, want to put in a CB but cannot figure where to install it, so it will be out of the way. Do you guys have pics of your CB's installed? If anybody has one. |

Lots of people on here have CB's. I have one but sorry no pics. I installed my Cobra 75swx under my front seat like many others have. I mounted an external speaker in the front left knee bolster (plactic part that flips down under the steering column). Stays hidden and out of the way. Long mic cord so it reaches up and works great. There are pics of this install in the electronics section. Others have used other modle CB's and mounted up in the center roof under the overhead display. Others have utilized the area reserved for the ashtray. and others have stuffed small ones in the center console storage. By far i feel the 75 swx is best and fits great mounted to the bottom of the seat. |

Mine is mounted to the drive seat side rail, below the "lean back" handle, its visible when you open the door, but out of the way etc. I can turn it off and on and switch/scan channels without looking down, usually there is no need for that though. |

Cobra 29 LTD WX Classic under the drivers seat, with external speaker out of sight, easy to reach, no problems, plus at night I have a little foot well light from the meter light  150 watt linear with pre amp under the passenger seat just in case I want to reach out and touch someone

jeep was a little messy here but u can see where i mounted mine anyways. its a Uniden and i have a K40 antena in the rear.

I put my WX75 inside the center concole. Pull out the CD holder & u can screw it to the rear heat duct & put the cd holder back in place. Ran my mic cord out the E brake handle area. When its not being used, the mic just stays under the seat. Then when I'm using it- stays in my lap. |

this was where my old RadioShack CB TRC-502 was, just to give you another idea!...
