I am looking to remove the restrictive catalytic converter and replace the muffler with a Magnaflow 12226 muffler. I have not been able to find a by-pass pipe? Can anyone help??? ( for off road application only of course) 8)

um....there is no cat on an 05 crd. there is a resonator...look in it its hollow. just buy the mag. "cat back" bolt up and be done. my wife is happy with hers

to the best of my knowledge, diesels in general do not have catalytic converters.

thats correct no cat in an 05 crd....not until o8 were they required.

There is a CAT on both years of the CRD model. Might not be necessary for the diesel, but it is on there thanks to the EPA.
